Dads/lads meet up Fri 30th October - Christies Beach

Lets meet up at the Christies Beach Hotel on GulfView Road at 20:00 on Friday 30th October.

 

Hope afew can make it for a bit of a chat. Oh yeah and beer.

While the dads are down the pub, some of the mums and kids will be at play n fun's halloween disco 5.30 to 8pm, $13 per child including a meal. Fancy dress optional.

The pub is on Gulfview Road and 'play n fun' is on Beach Road, both in Christies Beach. See http://www.playnfun.com.au for detsils , you'd need to buy disco tickets in advance. The pub has a website too, just google Christies Beach Hotel.

we've heard christies beach is a bit rough is this true?

it does have a reputation from the past apparently, but we have found it to be great. Its close to the beach, with both esplanandes having money spent on them, lots of shops nearby and excellent transport links.

Hi Everyone who is coming on Friday. For people who don't know me, I will be wearing a pinkish shirt with a kind of Baywatch image on it. For the ladies who are going to the kids halloween disco. My 4 year old will be wearing a red Power Ranger costume and Catrin will be dressed as a cat and maybe hanging around with a couple a witches. Enjoy the weather.

We'll be coming to both events, my OH (Riponian on here) will be coming with a small pink fairy and a slightly larger skeleton. I've not yet decided whether to go to the kids thing aswell, but will defo be up for a beer later on and I will be wearing whatever comes out of the suitcase/bag first that isn't creased to buggery and doesn't have any spiders in it.
