Hi All

We have been here since Feb & have settled in with jobs & everyday life, but we missing having a social life. We are both normal (I think!) but we haven't managed to make a social circle. We live in Stirling me 39, him 40 no kids, so if anyone would like to have 2 geordies tagging along we would love to hear from you.

Don't worry Sue, your not the only one's that have been in that situation.

 

We found it very difficult to meet people to go out with initially and I know lots of other people have as well.

 

You have already made a start by getting on here and asking around if anyone wants to meet. We did not find this site until we had been in Adelaide for about 4 months and up to that point hadn't really met any friends.

 

There was a meet arranged one saturday afternoon that we went along to and we haven't looked back since. That was about 18 months ago.

 

Look out for meets on here, they happen quite regularly. I am having a Blokes Chrissy drink get together next week in Hallett Cove if your OH wants to come along. I know that there is a couple of Girls nights coming up as well.
