Christmas Day Meet up

We moved here 9 months ago and didn't realise about PIA until we had already been here a while. I have found the site extremely useful in so many ways- ideas, advice,goods for sale etc... Have never made it yet to a meet up unfortunately but we would like to know if there is a Xmas day meet up- I'm sure ages ago I saw there was going to be a BBQ or something. We have two boys aged 7 and 8 so just wondered if

 

a)the meet up is still going on?

b)is it kid friendly?

c) where and what time?

I believe the planned BBQ has been and gone. There is a load of us planning to meet at silver sands on christmas day, go down the runway and turn right. Anyone welcome. Will be there from midday ish
