Marion Outdoor Swimming Pool

We've only been here 3 weeks, but today we found Marion Outdoor pool and it's fab! I'm sure many of you have been, but for those who haven't, it's got 3 lovely pools and both the baby and kids pools are in the shade. There's a great slide that doesn't cost a fortune ($4 for 10 goes) and plenty of shaded grassy areas for relaxing. We had a great time and will go again, with a picnic.

they used to run kids birthday parties there which for older ones can include the slide and you can take your own food n cake or they can organise food, but usually better to take your own.

We were there on saturday too. Had a lovely day and would definatley recommend it for a visit.

We love it there too! Not too expensive either, $16.30 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children) and you can stay as long as you like. We take a picnic with us and make a day of it. Definately worth a visit.

Burnside is lovely. However, it's worth a quick call before you go to make sure all the pools there are open - we went last Thursday and only the toddler pool was open - the rest didn't open till after 1pm because of VacSwim classes.

Has anyone had, or been to, a birthday party there? Was thinking about having my daughter's 7 th birhday party at Marion Swimming Pool.

Hi there we had a party there last year for my sons 7th birthday. It was good fun, the children were entertained in the pool for an hour - they had games and races with the staff and then afterwards they got unlimited use of the slide. We took our own food and cake they provided tables for us. Really reasonably priced too. We are off to a party there on Sunday.
