We have just arrived, and was wondering what to do on australian day? Something that the kids can also do?

Any advice will be great.....

There is a free concert in Elder Park at around 7pm after a street parade on North Terrace in the City.

 

I think that there is also fireworks at Semaphore beach.

 

As it is the first day of school the day after we will be tucked up in bed at 7pm! Bad planning by someone...

The street parade in the city is worth a looksee, with the mayor and Ranny (see if you can get a slice of Media Mike's cake after the ceremonies :))

Have a look out around your suburbs as there are often community events (BBQ's) to take in.

As for us, we're going camping at the beach :D
