Gals Lunch Glenelg :)

Hi everyone!

Back in September Ren organised a Glenelg lunch that was a massive success and was great for newbies like me to meet lots of people.

Since there seems to be a whole lot of new arrivals (and seasoned pros!) I was thinking that we could have another one :D We had it in the Strand on Jetty Road last time so how about we stick with that (food is lovely) and make it a weekend day so that everyone can have a chance to come along?

There we have it! Ladies lunch on Saturday 27th Feb in the Strand in Glenelg. Please let me know if you will be coming as they limit the table size to 20 :)

Hope to see you all there

That sounds really nice a girly get together in the sun,im jealous that were still stuck in the uk!! not long to wait now though,we plan to get over in aug even if we cant sell our house. Its really nice to see that you girls have get togethers as when we get to adelaide alot of the time i will be on my own,due to my husbands month away and month at home job.

Cant wait to make some nice new friends who can give me pointers of were to visit and nice things to see and do.

Have fun!!!

Hi Allie,

I’m up for this. My Husband and I have been here since November and just started meeting other poms; it’s always good to get to know more. What time are you booking the table for?

Right ladies the table is booked for 2pm on saturday :) there are 10 people who have siad that they will def be going so that should be a nice number. Most of the people are newbies so it will be agreat way for youall to meet each other!

If you cant make it then please let me know so that I can let the restaurant know in advance (and so we dont sit around waiting!) The website for the Strand is here

Hi Allie,

Sorry to post this message so late in the day but I have just joined PIA.

Would it be possible for me to join you and the other ladies for lunch in Glenelg?

I'll send you an PM just in case you don't see this in time.

Guest bentkitty

Hi everyone - shame I have missed this as we are new here (Brighton) and I am in desperate need of some day-time girlie company (now that my husband is working and the spate of visitors from the UK has died down, the novelty of being at home alone with my cat is rapidly fading away...). Love the Strand as well, so would have loved to have joined you, sounds like you all had a fab time!! Please let me know if anyone fancies a coffee/lunch/cheeky glass of wine in Glenelg/Brighton/Hallet cove area...:jiggy:

Hey, I just wanted to say I too would love to be a part of something like this if it gets organised again. in the meantime I'm open to coffees / wines / beers anywhere in the city or easy to access from the city (I don't have a car).

Bentkitty (and anyone else), gimme a shout if you fancy that soon - Sundays and Mondays are good for me.
