We (my brother and myself) emigrated here a couple of years ago and whilst we have met some great people we don't have many single friends to socialise with.

 

Are there any other early 30-ish singletons (male and female) out there looking for opportunities to make friends and enjoy a few beers etc? :)

I am single and definitely keen to meet more people for socialising. Are you coming to the Glenelg drinks on the 27th Feb? I'm also looking for a group to go to Womadelaide with if you are interested, I posted it last week. Hope to see you some time soon!

Everyone here's either in a long term relationship or married - its crazy! Makes me feel old!

 

I'm not quite early 30s (try 24), but it would still be good to get a night out on the town with some other people that aren't joined at the hip.

 

(I'd insert a smiley at the end there, but its eyebrows terrify me)

Hi all,

Loving this thread! Did you ever all meet up? Me and my housemate Charlie (also English) are up for meeting some single friends for beers, nights out etc. We have the same problem - everyone is settled down!!

Let us know if you fancy meeting up or watching a few world cup games (despite the crappy time differences!!) Emma (32)

I think some people did get together one night but I was ill for that one. Definitely up for the next one though and be good to meet you and your housemate
