It was great to see a new face today - this was the purpose of the group when we started, for new arrivals, or those wanting to meet up and come along and have a natter. Sadly, due to a variety of circumstances, today was our last session at the Old Cottage. The original keyholders have other commitments and there was no-one new available to become a keyholder. We decided instead to continue meeting but at various parks in summer and indoor venues in winter/wet weather. Each week we will meet at 1pm until around 2.30pm, the meeting point will be posted on our facebook page. Next week (tues 7 Feb) we will meet at Thalassa Park Playground in Happy Valley/Aberfoyle Park. See you there :)
Thanks for the support for those who have attended over the past 18 months, and we are still hoping to welcome and new faces that decide to come along.

Our daughter and son in law are over on holiday from the uk with our grandson (6 months old), is it ok if we come along or is the playgroup for older children?

That is fine for you to come along, just to note, we have finished with the playgroup at the Old Cottage, but are meeting in various parks etc, next week will again be Thalassa Park, off Windebanks Road in Aberfoyle Park/Happy Valley. Hope to see you there. There is a lovely playground and benches to chat at :)

This week I have a school excursion and I know a couple of others can't make it, so we won't meet this week, but next week back to Thalassa again - same time 1pm Hope to see you next week Sarah

Hi Ladies,
Shame you are not meeting up today I was hoping to drop by. I will make note for next Tues.
I have lived in ADL for 4 years now and have an active 13 month old son so this sounds perfect. I would love to meet some new people too.
Catch you all soon.

From next week we will be changing our meeting day to Thursday at 1pm,
we will be at Thalassa Park again this Thursday (8 March) from 1pm

Following on from the playgroup, we are changing again. As we often have people express interest to come along, and then not turn up, we have decided to consolidate with another group, this frees up some of our time for work etc.
This walking group has been running on and off for 4 years, and is a really nice group, with some regulars and different people coming along each week. ALL WELCOME
As of tommorow we are going to change the playgroup meet up and instead incorporate with a Poms group that meet in Seacliff at the reserve/park there (between Seacliff & Brighton, on the Esplanade) We stroll to Brighton have a coffee and stroll back. We welcome all current playgroup families and new people that just want to meet others for a chat. Meeting at 9.30 and its always weather permitting. Look forward to seeing you in Seacliff!!
It can be a brisk walk, so if you have toddlers, a pusher might be a good idea. Alternatively, we should be back at the reserve/park between brighton & seacliff by 10.30, so you could always just meet us there if you fancied. It is a friendly group - most have kids at school now, but some with little ones still come, so with or without little ones, everyone welcome :)
