childfree people on the forum?

Just curious how many of you moving to adelaide are 'sans kiddies'? The hubs and I are childfree and don't plan to have any. Always nice to meet a few others like that.

Same here. Just the two of us. I am only just responsible enough to start taking care of myself (turned 40 in July)!!!

 

We were wondering the same, as last time we went to a meet up, most people seemed to be moving "for the kids". Did feel a bit selfish that we are doing it purely for us.

Have been over 6 weeks left all the children in the UK, in our 40's. We could do with a child free meet, maybe in a drinking establishment Being my first post I will have to let someone else take the lead on a time and a venue.

I'll be happy to organise a meet up when we arrive, which should be in a few weeks, so possibly early April? Will throw out some dates as soon as we have our tkts home. Perhaps a pub inthe city centre...we could be predictable and go to the English pub (I want to say elephant and castle but that may be wrong) or Belgian Beer Cafe, or anywhere else people would like to suggest.
