Meet Adelaide Friday 1st feb 2008 @ 7pm

Hi All,

We are going to Adelaide during Jan/Feb for a holiday and recci and wondered if anybody would be interested in a meet when we get there?

We have set a date with Mark and Tina as they will be living there by then so that makes four of so far.

We have picked The bar of `The Mercure Grosvenor Hotel' located at 125 North Terrace opposite the popular Adelaide Casino at 7pm Friday 1st Feb, who's up for it?

We can only do daytime meets in child-friendly places, but if you are heading out of the city and down this way - Port Noarlunga - perhaps towards the beach, then let us know.

BJF, (Di): Has pointed out that an Australian Flag on the table may not be a good idea as it's not long after Australia Day and the place will probably be full of them. I have a Union Jack so I will bring that and stick it on the table or as Di says just look for the most excitable lot!

What's on the agenda? Shall we say, just meet for drinks and see what happens? (Does anybody want to eat to, we don't mind?)

Tonight's (February 1st) details, Meet at....

Federal Bar of the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel,

Adelaide at 7pm

There'll be a Union Flag on the table so you'll know which party to join.

Someone had to make a decision about eating or not so we opted for NOT, you'll need to eat first or starve. See everyone tonight, lets show the aussie's how to party and have a good time. :jiggy:We don't know of a strict dress code so presumably jeans are ok, at least I hope so as it's what I'll have on.

Hi,

We are now fast approaching the end of our recci in Adelaide and are not looking forward to the flights home on Friday.

Before we go we would both like to thank those who attended the meet at the Mercure Grosvenor on Friday 1st, we had a great night although must admit that by the end of the it, I (Martin) could hardly keep my eyes open. Was it the drink or was I still not fully adjusted to the time change!

Anyway thank you again and hope to see you all later in the year.
