Hi just seen a thread asking if there was anyone from Yorkshire on here and it gave me the idea to see if there was anyone from near us too wanting to meet up and chat about our experiences and futures.

 

We used to be.:)

Quite a lot of us from Nottingham on here.

My best mate in oz comes from Mansfield!!!

We have educated all of our ozzie and pommie mates on what a cob is.

It's a small world here!

I used to teach in Kirkby for my sins and lived in Giltbrook at the back of Ikea.

Hi Helene i have found the yorkshire thread. I think when we all eventually arrive in SA we should have a big meet to catch up as well.

Hi Sharon, we are hoping it will not be to long now. We have a co and just waiting for that visa.:goofy: Even when we get the visa we cannot go till we sell the house. Things just are not moving here!:sad:

Wow who would have thought there would be so many. I lived in WestBridgford then Carlton before moving here last year!!!!! I know where I prefer.

Bridgford....so did we at abbey park,near the Willow Tree pub, by the canal.
