Hi all ,

We have finally had our visas granted and the passports are away getting little stickers put in them as we speak.!

 

We are flying out on the 26th jan 2008 arriving on the 28th ( woah long flights ) wondering if anybody want to meet up for a get together and a drink or two?

 

Does anyone else live in smithfield plains or playford?

Good news on the arrival date, flight not so bad!! Worth it by the time you get there.

 

When we get there about mid June we will be in Andrews Farm, so not too far away from you guys. Hope to see you there and we will join you for a drink or three!! By which time with you getting there earlier we can pick your brains

Your profile picture of the house, is this your house have you already purchased one? It looks like one of the kind built by the people we have bought ours off and they do have a development on Andrews Farm - looks very nice.

 

Will definatley have to meet up when you arrive and you are welcome to ask us anything when we get there.

Welcome to PIA and congratulations on your visa.

 

We are still waiting on ours coming through, we have similar timelines to Ianb, so hopefully any day now we will get our call (although we don't have a case officer yet, don't know if this will make a difference).

 

Good luck with the flights, they're not too bad, quickly forgotton about and well worth it when you get there!

Yes the house is one of those on Lakeside Development built by Devine. Just about finished now, so plan to rent it out till we get there.

 

yes be great to keep in touch and know a felllow PIA is living local

just wanted to say that we are currently in craigmore and love it! the eldest goes to playford primary and that too seems to be an ok school!

Would definately like to meet up when we get there. We are pleased to know that there seems to be a few people around this area. We were beginning to worry about the area as everybody else seems to talk about Glenelg and Hallett Cove etc.

 

Would love to keep in touch. Nice to see you are having some experiance of the schools. We do not have any children yet but will be planning to in the near future once settled.

Never been in there. When i sometimes check it there doesn't seem to be people in but this is during the day and i suppose people here are at work or in Oz are in bed.

Great thanks for that i've just added your address to our msn messaging thing. I will send you a quick note of my email too.

 

James is also an engineer on aircraft and i was a legal secretary. I dont really fancy doing that anymore though so looking for a career change hopefully, depends on the money situation when we get there.
