Socialising !!

Hi all

 

We have been in Oz for 16 months now and are loving it! We are living in Noarlunga Downs. We came across with our 3 kids, 22, 19 & 18, the two older ones have moved out already!!!

 

We are 45 & 41 and would like to meet other Brits to share experiences and general socialising (perhaps over a beer/wine!)

 

Is there anything social that goes on for older teenagers?

We have no teenage kids just a 10 year old daughter who thinks she's a teenager.

Hmmmmmmmm Think its time to organise a southern suburb meet. Seems to be a lot of people arriving from the UK in this area at the moment. I'll get my thinking cap on........

How about one afternoon in the Colonnades tavern, it's pretty easy to get to, or maybe Billy Baxters cafe, it's fairly big and has seating outside.

A few venues spring to mind all with public BBQs. The reserve at Old Noarlunga, Rotarty Park on Beach road and the wooden fort at Port Noarlunga. Any preferences? I'll start a new thread advertising the meet when we agree a venue.
