Meet Up in the South

Seeing as there are many new arrivals in and around the Noarlunga area, I thought it would be useful to arrange a meet. I'm suggesting Sunday 6th November from 12 o'clock onwards at the reserve on Patapinda Road in Old Noarlunga. If its sunny the trees there would offer some shade, there is a playground for the littlies and public BBQs. It is also a lovely spot down there by the river. I'll take some BBQ tools for anyone that wants to use them. If the weather is kind it could be a nice afternoon.

Sounds like a good idea but have you ever seen this thread?

We now meet up at the beach at Port Norlunga on the first Sunday of the month.

Not trying to quash your idea just thought I would let you know about the other meeting.

I will put up our blue domed shelter and hang a green and gold aussie rugby flag (boxing Kangaroo) on it. We may not need it but it will identify where we are. Nothing worse than going to a meet and having to ask various groups if they are from from PIA. :embarressed:

Been keeping an eye on the weather channel for the 6th. Gotta love the long term forecast. 3 days ago it was blue skies and 25 degrees. 2 days ago it was rain and 27, yesterday it was showers and 34 today its saying the day will be dry with sunny spells and 32. I wonder what it will say tomorrow. LOL

Congrats on the rental. That is normally the last piece in the jigsaw.

As Tracey said bring what you want to. There are public BBQs there and I'll bring some tools for anyone that wishes to use them. Or bring a picnic. As for drink what ever takes your fancy. If anyone isn't sure where it is send me a PM and I'll give you directions.
