Meeting new people.

Hi there,

Anyone out there who works fly in and out to the mines and finds it difficult to meet people because you are away for a week at a time?

Anyone else out there in the same boat or anyone out there just wanting to meet new people? Would be great to arrange a meet up if anyone is interested.

I am in Aldgate living, been out here 12 months, my husband works all over the state, 3 weeks on 1 week off. I am struggling to make friends staying in one place lol, I'd be up for a meet up.

I'm not really in the same boat as you but have recently moved to Seaford and finding it hard to meet new friends...especially with a 9 month old baby and Husband works full time. Let me know if you want to arrange a get together.

Hi Katy

I don't work in mines but as a chef I work sometimes shifts and long hours had 2 jobs for a while, so haven't really met loads of people apart from the people at work but they don't seem to socialize together. so yeah I wouldn't mind meeting up with new people.
