hi has anyone been to the serafino restaurant in mclaren vale. we are going next wk for special occassion and would like some honest reviews please:wubclub:

It's very nice. Menu is small but meets everyones needs. There is a dish to suit everyone. Service could be a bit better. Fairly pricey. It's on our list of top restaurants.

We eat out alot especially recently as have been renovating our house so no kitchen for over a month!!! I have to agree with Moosh's comments, Ive been a couple of times and find it a bit pricey for what it is and the staff can get a bit stressed out when its busy but it is nice, as its a special occassion it will be lovely I'm sure.

we got married there a few years ago when it was called Mclaren on the Lake and it was fantastic! food serves with huge and lovely surroundings. we have our work xmas party there in a few weeks.
