We went last year...bloody good day out beer expensive tho.....look for the flavoured cider stand...we ended up drinking raspberry was very nice on a hot summers day....and cheaper than the german beers too...although you have to sample the german beer.....

Loved it back home recently with thhuge choice they had there.

 

When we came here in 88 it was Strongbow, Sweet, Dry or Draught

 

No Diamond White or 1080.

 

Not sure if we're going Friday night or Saturday yet.

Us and a few friends are heading there on Saturday arvo!!! Should be a great day out!

We're going to hop on the OBahn and head down there at some point - probably Sunday, although I'm sure the German beer won't be as good as OH's home brew! I shall be getting my lips round a sausage or two...

The German's are famous worldwide for their sausages! Might give the sourkraut a miss though... even though it's good for me

Will pass, over priced and poor quality judging on 2 years ago. Full of muppets also. I know the idea is a kind of oktoberfest but its expensive and the choice of beer is limited and quite poor

Most imported end externally brewed beer is expensive as is Guinness, will agree the beer is expensive we ended up on the flavoured cider which was " sehr schon "

 

We left before all the dicks came out....bout 6 oclock in the evening...but the same can be said about Hindley street on a friday and saturday night..
