Hi, we arrived in Adelaide from South East England in October 2011. We have met some really good friends, and made some lovely pals for our younger son, but are still struggling to meet people with older children. My daughter has some school friends but it seems children in the area which we live dont seem to play outside like they did back in the UK. Dont know if anyone else has found this an issue ?. If anyone has any similar aged daughters that need some friends and would like to meet up please message me, would be lovely to hear from you.

What school does your daughter go to? We came here in September with an 11 year old too. Did not settle at all and then we moved her to new school, best thing ever. Has she made friends in school? Maybe arrange for one of her friends to come over and play for a while! Hope all works out for you. Siobhan
