I was just wondering if there's any kind of collective effort going on to watch England group games for Euro 2012? Awful kick-off times but anyone heading out to the Rosemont, Casino or other venue?

It would be great to get together to watch them. But, like Diane, I reckon I will end up watching alone on my sofa. That sounds really sad and pathetic when its written down, lol.

SBS are apparently showing a few group games delayed but are going to show all the games live from the quarter finals onwards.

Obviously I'll be watching it at the Casino! I have just spoken to the manager, as per the Palace games, and they are doing some more specials. As well as the $5 pizzas and $5 Coopers Pints, they're also doing a special for poms. He hasn't finalised it yet, but I think it will be along the lines of $5 imperial (UK!) Heineken pints if you're wearing your England top.

I've spoken to the manager, and all opt those specials are locked in now. If you wear your shirt, you'll also be able to grab the $5 Heineken pints too. I think this may be exclusive to England fans too.

Yeah, the guys at the bar have thrown an extra special on for us (the Heineken pints). not just us personally, but they predict that England would (should) have the biggest following, and I think they want a bit of an atmosphere there, what with the shocking time difference and the sub-zero temperatures *cough*.

 

I won't be able to make the France game (just dropped you a message on Facebook) but should be there for the other two!
