Meet up near west lakes - september 2012

My husband and I have just arrived in Adelaide and it would be great if anyone would like to meet up? We are currently renting in West Lakes so anywhere north or along the coast would be great! Just post and let me knowand we can arrange something!

Hi Selina, just thought I'd say it might be helpful if you let people know your rough ages and where your from in UK. We're a couple of suburbs over from you and would be up for a meet up, but if your 21 as per your user name, we'd be from a different planet, lol. Regards Kelly & Darren.

Welcome to Adelaide we arrived in April and we rent in Salisbury we would be up for a meet we have a little girl who is 2 but loves to get involved when meeting up with new people, we also know a few people who will probably meet too

We're newbies and are in Tennyson, would definitely be up for am meet up, with or without the children. Alas, like Kelly & Darren we're also not 21

Goody gum drops this is going well. Lets see what we've got so far. User Selina21 posts thread for meet up. We know she has a hubby, lives at West Lakes and may or maybe not be 21 years old. Then some total numpty called Keldaz comes on and suggests she should let people know their ages and where their from, but fails to mention same about themselves. We know mr.mrswest have a 2 year old daughter, so she'll probably want to vomit on me, as is the norm with other peoples small kiddies. Not forgetting the bowensclan, they must be a bit posh if their in Tennyson, clan suggests their here in great numbers and they aren't 21 either but could be aged 22-99.

So in view of this the daz half is 42, kel half is 36, no sprogs by choice, we hail from Sussex, kel originally Essex. Not that it matters to us where anyone is from. Like socialising, days out, walking, fun cycling (not serious) if we ever get round to buying bikes, planning to visit every corner of Aus, when time and cash allow.

 

What shall we do next, I know lets arrange to meet up but not tell each other where. We can just wander round asking random strangers if their poms, lol. On a serious note a meet up during weekend daytime would probably be best to start, maybe somewhere with a cafe or similar. Henley Beach, Grange, Semaphore or West Lakes shopping centre spring to mind. If anyone has a day and time in mind, put it forward, I can't at mo as Kelly has some Aussie hen do to go to, and I can't remember for the life of me when it is. Its on an evening but being a woman she'll probably want 24 hours to get ready, hairdressers etc bla bla.
