Any meet ups planned for April/May?

We're going to be coming out to validate visas and do a reccie in a couple of weeks time (myself, caroline, 45, and my 9 yr old son jacob), and wondered if there are any meet ups planned when we're there, ie between 13 April and 8 May?

 

I saw the sticky thread about meet ups on first sunday of the month, does anyone know if they are still happening and if there'll be one on 5 May?

 

My visa was granted a few months ago but I'm really scared about moving out there (particularly as it would just be myself and my son), so would be great to meet a few folk who've been through it and make a few contacts!

Hi...yes the meet up at Nourlunga Beach is def on....we never miss...there is always someone there to meet you...even if the post hasn't been updated. We've been meeting for nearly 3 years now. Hope you see this in time.

We'll try to get there too (but may not make it as its our daughter's birthday and not sure if there is anything planned) - we're in our 60s so can maybe help if you are missing your parents/grandparents.

 

We also know what it like to be the parents 'left behind' and can share some insight there if your rellies are struggling.

Right of the jetty as you look to sea. See you there at 3pm tomorrow. If its cold we may mooch off to a cafe...but hopefully it'll be warm enough . See you then....and we won't mooch off til at least 3:30 anyway to make sure we catch any stragglers Allan's number is 0451502859 if anyone is struggling to find us.
