About any small studio or room to rent for few hours

I'm thinking about to open some simple lessons to teach cooking, but I dun want to teach in my place.

Is there any small room, can I rent for teaching? I just need a place to teach a few people, maybe within 8.

I'm new here, sorry to ask that stupid question...

I'm guessing you would need it to be approved by someone or other if it was to be used commercially for cooking. I'm not even sure who you would check with.

Probably your first step would be to contact you local council, they will be able to tell you what you need, it can be fairly complicated and not cheep. It would depend on how they class you buisness but some possible things you may need are;

Food safety certificate

Comercial kitchen

Food supivisor

Public liability insurance

there are lots more that you may or may not need as well as any premices would need to be inspected and certified as safe for the use.

Sounds like a good plan but make sure you look into it properly, the penalties for non compliance can be huge.
