Making friends

Hello there,

 

 

I have been a member on PIO for a really long time now. I've come on here as my husband and I made the move 6 months ago. We absolutely love it here but now the busyness of the last 6 months have calmed down we're looking to meet new friends. Friends have always been a massive part of my life and at the moment I'm missing the social life I had back in the UK. I've made some brilliant friends at work however, there is no one of a similar age and we mainly see each other for yoga or a coffee. I'm 26 and my husband is 30 we have no kids and two dogs and live in the northern suburbs. If anyone fancies a meet up or if a few people fancy it I'll try book a table somewhere, maybe grange or Henley beach.

You all sound fairly similar to me - except I met my partner out here. I'm 27, my other half works a lot and doesn't have a big friendship group. I'm really struggling to find new friends out here - as lets face it back home mine were through school, uni and work! I live in Glenelg but can head up to the city too (or anywhere in between) if anyone fancies a few drinks of a weekend to maybe strike up a new friendship

Probs a bit late writing on here, but my husband (30) and I (28) are going to be moving into a new rental in the Henley Beach area and are keen to catch up with some people our age. We are from Manchester and its just the two of us....at the moment, dog soon possibly :-)

I realise a while has passed since your post but if your still looking for meet ups let me know. Me and my husband moved over here 2 years ago and have struggled to meet new people. I'm 33, he's 39 with no kids. After winging about struggling to meet people I thought I would have a look on here.
