Hi my name is Carey. I actually have been born and bred in Adelaide but I lived in the Uk for 5 years until last September. I am actually posting on behalf of my wife who is English and I feel would actually love to be able to have a catch up with fellow Brits, she misses her British family and friends and while she has my family and friends it isn't the same. I was wondering if there was a regular expat meet up or if anyone would be interested in meeting up. I'm 30 and Georgia is 26. We don't have kids as yet. Anyway it is my hope that we can meet some nice Brits to help her not feel so homesick.

Hi Carey and welcome to both you and your wife to the forum. What area are you living in? There are occasional get togethers organised which usually get posted up - have a search around the forum particularly in this (the socialising) section, and perhaps get in touch (you can send PMs or Personal Messages) with a couple of others in your area and get something organised yourselves.
