She goes to Henley Beach school and we live at Underdale.

we live in seacombe gardens by the marion ryan is 18 liam has just had his 17th birthday, they have been fishing and have been to queensland but they spend most of their time on the computer talking to their mates in liverpool they are going home in july for 6 weeks then they say they just want to work to save enough to go "home" to live, this was not how we thought it would be we came here to give them a chance in life and they refuse to embrace the life and "give it a go" sorry to go on, but the situation with our boys is just added stress at an already stressful time dont know if they would meet your lads, but maybe speak on myspace or something what part of the uk are you from? iam sure you will meet loads of expats in henley beach sue

Well if your boys work, then it will give them something else to think about and maybe make friends and slowly maybe they will change their minds. If not then you will have to let them go and maybe in a few years they will have another think especially if all their friends start moving away for work or study. It is a hard age to move, their friends are all going out n having a good time doing things that are familiar and they haven't yet developed anchors here, so maybe feel they are missing out.

you have hit the nail on the head as they say , the lads feel they are missing out, we as parents know that even in a short time things have changed in the uk and when they go back many of their mates will have moved on with work etc and they hopefully will realise that there are great oppurtunities to work and prosper here in oz they may also find that their mates envy what they have here , the grass is always greener on the other side as the saying goes, thanx for your input suex
