Count us in, will bring bucket and spades for me and the boys though. Hubby only got a boat rod but that should be okay

Just a quick note as Scrapping-Julie pointed out to me that wellies or waders might be a good idea else you might get wet feet.

I've just been having a natter in The Anglers Choice.

Mark Mills who works there will be coming down to help out and advise.

He is a well known local fishing personality and journalist as well.

We have a wealth of knowledge in him :notworthy:

I can second that.

The guy is a mine of useful information and will be great to have him there.

Praise be the fish:notworthy:

What rules are we gonna fish to? If there are loads of prizes wuld it be better to share them out a bit? IE biggest fish, best kid etc? Oh yeah, and best looking bloke in waders :P

Well, you are not in the running for best looking bloke or most discreet husband mate:biglaugh::biglaugh:

Best looking bloke in waders WILL be me as Scott from Anglers Choice is lending me his custom made waders to model.

It's Matt's comp - but I'm sure it will be more of a relaxed affair.

The main purpose is to get folk together, socialise - especially the newbies.

Praying that the weather will be good now!!

I make up for it in character though.

Bit like "It's not the size - it's what you do with it that counts"

Talking about fishing gear BTW.

I'll be meeting Matt in Angler's Choice this arvo to try and nut some guidelines out. Pop in if you are free - give us a call.
