Fishing Comp and get togeather Up-Date

Well the forecast is looking good so far but it can still change so keep an eye on the forecast and i will be posting the final go-ahead or not a couple days before hand.

Anglers Choice is supplying some bloody fantastic prizes and im totally blown away by their help and support for this get together and comp.

They are giving us a loads of white bait and light surf traces and will be offering help and advice on the day as well, these guys are truly amazing.

 

Adjudicators for the day will be Tyke, my-self and anyone else we can get to help out.

Hey Matt, all looking good for Saturday, top job.

Just wondering as not everyone eats fish, i can chuck the bbq in the van (full size) if peeps want to bring sausages or burgers? I know there will be a few 4x4s there to pull me out if i get stuck lol

Its Beach Fishing so wellies, waders or flip flops as you might get wet feet.

Angler Choice is supplying loads of white bait but if you wanna bring cockles as well they will work realy well.

No target fish as its for fun, but light surf or whiting rigs will work realy well or go for something a lot bigger and go out further.

The comp and get together will probally go on for about 6 hrs max, gonna fish the tide up so kicking off bout 9am ish as low is at around 9.30 am.

The fee is 1 six pack of beer per person or family so if one one person turns up its a 6 pack or if a family turns up its still only a 1 six pack.

Yeah sounds great.

I cant eat any sea food so im one person i guess who will make use of ya bbq lol lol lol.

Also need to talk to ya bout my pool as well so will be good to meet up.

If ya want to bring some bait along - the more the merrier!

The Anglers Choice is giving some Whitebait.

 

I'll have an esky full of stinky and unknown stuff.

 

Sand whiting / Tommies/Salmon/Flathead - who knows??

 

 

Standard Paternoster rig with sand weight - set for whiting I'd say

 

Tide is Low water at 9.00am so fishing on an incoming tide

 

9 - 2 or 3??

Can't look more bad at the moment - silt dumped from the top lawn - had o bite the bullit and chuck a Magic Cube in the skimmer

Well done Matt this comp sounds really great. Hi Tyke hope you and Sheila are well. Would loved to have come down and brought the boys for a fish. We will look out for the summer comp.
