Onkastompacompa

Well, bloody knackered after fishing the Onkastompa this morning. It was a bloody great effort by everyone who attended, especially Mark from Angler's Choice who organised the whole event. We managed to raise over $4700 for Childhood Cancer and a record 250 anglers competed - they even ran out of food after cooking 18kg of sausages!

The fishing wasn't great, probably due to the number of people there. I managed a few bream to about 30cm (the biggest caught was 43cm) but the day wasn't really about the catching.

Ace day and hope more of you can fish it next year.

Agree with Damo, fishing not great but a great atmosphere and $4700 raised is a great effort.

And well done to Mark (Anglers Choice) for arranging it all, must have been a nightmare but well worth it.

Any more than 250 entrants will be a bit cosy though:Randy-git::biglaugh:
