What sort of costs are you looking at roughly for shipping from uk to auz?

We shipped 150 boxes in a 20 ft container with Allied Pickfords which cost us £3600 plus insurance and customs charges.

Insurance was 3% but haggled down to 2% so saved a bit

We got 5 or 6 different companies in for quotes and then negotiated with Allied to get a better price as their original quote was £4200 Very good service from them.
