Motorcycling in Adelaide

Hi, Can anyone tell me how many race tracks (tarmac) are around the Adelaide area as I am a track day biker.

Dave,
There is one at Mallalla which is about an hour or so north of Adelaide CBD.
They have track days and also hold a round of the Aussie superbike championship.

Most newsagents sell the UK magazines Bike, Ride, Two etc. but they are very expensive. There are loads of aussie mags they just don't get too technical. One of the better ones that we've found so far is called Australian Roadrider

I was over last june looking at the roads for riding.
Go up into the hills and there are some amazing twisties with breath taking views or take the road down to victor harbour, thats a great ride as well.
Theres a good Guzzi and ducati dealer on Gouger Street oppisit the tyre place who can tell you all the best roads.
Listen on the TV and radio (triple M) for where the speed cameras are going to be and who's got the cheapest petrol.
Cant wait to get my ass over there riding.

hi im not a biker on the road yet but i was a member of a motorcycle display team named the IMPS in east london performing lots of displays around the uk and aboard, well i hope to get a bike in oz either a supermoto or a road legal raptor quad is getting a bike licence easy in oz? would love a harley heritage softal but that seems to be a dream i have for years

Hiya.
Do your test over here first as car and motorcycle licence is tranfable but you must do it within the first 3 months getting there.
Unfountetly my PSV is not so im re-doing it in adelaide with Torrens Transit $700.
