6 month or longer car rental

Hi All

 

We have family coming out for a 6-12 months visit. We would like to ensure they can get about during their stay and have started investigating long term car lease. We seem to be struggling finding a rental company that can offer anything over 2 months. Has anyone done something similar before?

I get a car allowance and have a long term rental in place with Aussie car rentals which I pay monthly.
