      Sydney with the family

Hi we are off to Sydney in April for 4 nights, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids age 13 and 8 and would like to make the most of our stay, any recommendations for restaurants or things to do while we are there would be hugely appreciated,

      thanks

Take the hop on hop off open top bus tour, you buy a 24 hours ticket and its great it gives you a the full picture of the city.
You could hop off at Bondi for lunch and photos !!

Harbour Bridge climb, your get some absolutely amazing pictures.

If you can get the twilight time you'll see the sunset and the city at night too.

Highly recommend it but Google the costs as it is not cheap

Ferry to Manly & Bondi, spend a day on those two

Get the ferry to Watsons bay for lunch at either of Doyles Fish n Chip places, posh one left of jetty or not so posh one on the jetty, or the pub at the end of the jetty, theres a beach with great views through the harbour, then theres the kids area playground, then walk up the slight hill for better views and the entrance to the harbour through North /South heads, but becarefull of the time of the last ferry back, used to be 3.30ish??

Hi guys!! we spent a full week in sydney (boxing day to new years day)... we stayed with family just outside the CBD!!

I would defo hire a car to get out and about!! there are some amazing beaches!! bronte, bondi!!(off course everyone has to go to bondi), clearwater, manly, clontarf.

We took a ferry to the sydney harbour bridge and opera house,,, the kids loved that.

We walked around the royal botanical gardens,,, so pretty, that day we had lunch in one of the many thai cafes in the centre,, so cheep (some kids eat free when adults are ordering).

On an evening we had dinner in the sydney opera bar,, pizza and cocktails.... so cheep i was really surprised!!! and great view of the harbor at night.

Luna park was a great day out, my two are 17 and 12,,, . Next door has a great olympic pool, with great views of the bridge!! thats where we sat on new years eve!

hope you have fantastic time!! sydney is amazing place
