Converting to gas

Does anyone know where in Adelaide you can go and get your car converted to run on gas.

They are reducing the gov rebate as of the end of july from $2000 to $1750.

Thanks I was recently talking to someone who told me their's cost $2300 to convert so with the grant it only cost $300 thought this was too good to be true, is it right.

it depends on the type and model iof car. We have a Toyota prado 2001 model. It cost us $2800 to convert it and then got $2000 straight back. Money well spent. I'm looking at getting my new van done. This time because its on a 2007 model the conversion is $4300 then the $2000 back.

Thanks, lots to think about out of interest how much did you get the the gallon before and how much with the equivalent with gas.

We have had two cars converted to run on gas, the cost will vary depending on what car you have eg our Territoy was $3,300 the Hi Lux was $2,200 , but also get quotes if its a newer car you might want to ask about getting the vapour system as against the injected system......good luck
