6 Year Old Girl Birthday Ideas

We arrive in Adelaide on 22nd September (6 weeks to go aaagh!!!) and it is our daughters 6th Birthday on 31st December ( Halloween, yes we have our very own witch) and what with finding a home, jobs and schools, don't want to leave it until the last minute. She won't be having a party (don't know anyone yet!!) but wanted to do something special for her as it will be her 1st Birthday in Oz away from her family and friends. She is a real girly girl but likes sport and will give anything a go.. Can anyone suggest any good days out or things to do?

The Beach House at Glenelg would be a good place to go. Or take her to Cleland wildlife Park for a birthday pic with a Koala. You could spend some time just at the beach, which would be different to her previous birthdays always being in the cold. It's surprising how quick kids make friends, bet by the time it's her birthday she will have friends to invite to a party.
