Kids baseball or basket ball

Hi

 

Was wondering if anyone knows anywhere for kids to learn baseball or basket ball?

 

Preferably within the Southern suburbs!

Normally the schools do basketball and Noarlunga leisure centre does it, there is baseball at Glenelf, just off Tapleys Hill Rd

Hi Emma,

my son used to train through school (as Sharon said) at the Tigers' club premises .

 

The Tigers are a good club and can be found off States Road, Morphett Vale. Basketball is pretty big, and there are heaps of clubs dotted around - the only other two I have had any real dealings with are the Sturt guys who use the posh new club on Pasedena High School's site and the Panthers down at...aaargh! My mind's gone blank (not unusual lol) and I can see the place, just can't see the bloomin' address! Anyway, they are nearer Noarlunga!

 

I reckon asking at school, or popping into any sport-y place near you would be a good start. Good luck!

In Christie Downs there is a large baseball oval, dont know if they do training but it will be worth a try.

Seaford rec centre does basketball - all ages. think its the tigers too.

Got a flyer from my daughters school for a basketball clinic at Morphett Vale Stadium,Wilfred Taylor Reserve during the holidays for 5-12 year olds.

 

Wed 30th Sept or Tue 6th October from 9am - 3pm - $20 for the day or $30 with ball and showbag!
