Hi

 

I'm going to see Thomas the Tank Engine on Tuesday morning with my son.

 

What is the best way to get to the AEC, just looked on the website and can see that they have parking for 700 cars there.

 

Does anyone know how much this costs or if the public transport would be better?

Hi Sonya

I'm almost sure that parking is free there, but you could always give them a call to check. It's near Hindmarsh Stadium and when we've been there we've usually found street parking nearby - again free. If you're driving your best bet from Athelstone is to go along North East Road and then around the top of North Adelaide to the Ent Centre. Take you about 20/30 minutes. Personally I'd drive as I think you'd probably have to change busses to get there on public transport - have a look at http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/ for routes and times.

They have one large car park which is free as far as I know, I used to work near there and walk through the car park every day.

 

Any bus going along Port Road from the city will stop there if you wanted to use public transport.

:)Last time we were there it was $10.00 to park, heaps of space , and that was for the pink concert, so Iam sure there will be lots of room for your event.

There is a train station close by if you want to use public transport.

theres plenty of parking in the streets around, i went to see snow patrol there and parked in a side street
