Accommodation in Adelaide

Hi,

 

Have just booked flights so that we can activate our visa and do a reccie and were looking for accommodation recomendations in the Adelaide area. We are coming late Feb, and staying for 4/5 nights before heading of to Sydney. Need somewhere fairly central, but ideally near the beach as its partly a holiday as well. Obviously want to make a good impression on the missus' or she won't want to go back.

Thought about Henley/Glenelg, but tripadvisor is a bit hit and miss on these areas.

Any thoughts from anyone will be greatly appreciated.

you might want to look into West Beach (between Glenelg and Henley.) There is a holiday resort set up there www.adelaideshores.com.au. Friends have stayed there and say its fab. Easy to get to the city and right on beach. its worth a look.
