It's Amy's Ride this Sunday (organised in honour of Amy Gillett who was killed whilst training for the Olympics) and the Southern Expressway will be closed to cars and open to those of us mad enough to want to cycle up it in 36 degrees!!

You can choose the family option and start at the top of the hill and do a short 25kms (!) or go the whole hog and do the full 100kms. It all ends in McLaren Vale so we can collapse with a glass of wine afterwards.

Is anyone else planning to do it...?

No way I can only just get to Glenelg from Daws rd!!! Thats riding at walking pace!

I'm not guaranteeing I'll make it.... just aiming to try hard!!

We did it last year and were in the very last few people to get to the end. We have no shame!
