Golf - Par 3
Our son is interested in carrying on with learning to play golf. Can anyone recommend a nice family friendly par 3 course where we can take him (he is 7 years old).
Don't mind travelling, we are in Hallett Cove.
Hi Julie. There's a great little course at Semaphore, just off Military Road and not too far from the beach and Semaphore Road shops and cafes ,if you're looking for something to do afterwards. Great little course which has always been popular. Link below.
There is a Par 3 public course at Adelaide shores, opposite harbour town. Cheap and in good condition, with some holes playing either par 4 of back tees, or par 3 of forward tees.
A bit of a drive for you but my husband takes our son who is 5 to the Geoff Heath course just of Payneham Road. There is always other children there and they loan clubs out for kids.
yep, Geoff Heath is a very friendly course, and don't overlook the Adelaide Par 3 course down by the weir on War Memorial Drive (-they often have groups of school kids there). Both are cheap, fun and have plenty of shade. You can also get in the back nine after sunset on War Memorial Drive, cause it's floodlit.
