The fixtures for the Champions League have just been released and the mighty Glasgow Celtic are playing when we are in Adelaide for our look around.

Does anyone know if there are Football friendly sports bars which will be open and showing the game? i will gladly meet up with the person that gets me watching the game and buy them drink during the game (if they can put up with me shouting at the telly in my broad Scottish Accent:D)

cheers all

Graham

Hello, Hello,

We are part of the John Brown Loyal in Adelaide, you are more than welcome to come and join us!!

L.O.L. my cousin is in Adelaide and has many friends who like yourself, support Celtic, so leave it with me and I will find out for you and post the reply as soon as I can.

Hopefully we can get you the Adelaide Celtic Supporters Club and you can meet fellow supporters and do a little bit of networking as well.

The only problem that I can forsee is that the games wouldn't be shown until 4.30am, so it would have to be a supporters club and a bucket load of pro-plus!!!!

speak to you soon.

also the casino skycity may be showing games - on the few occasions we have been in there, they have a good selection of sport showing and they are open all hours! this could be an option for the rugby world cup also!

Hello again,

My cousin said there are a number of places in Adelaide if you go through this website you can have your pick!

www.celticbars.com it shows all the celtic bars throughout the world and adelaide has quite a few.

Good luck!

Hi,

does your cousin know of any websites listing the Gillingham FC bars around the world.:)

I'd have met up for a beer or two but unfortunately we don't start our new life until first week in December. Maybe we can leave it until May and watch the Tic play in the Champions League Final;)

sounds like a plan to me. even if the Tic don't make it this year we can watch it next year when we are both in Oz and celebrate some victories over a barbie

I just arrived in Adelaide yesterday. Did you have any success in finding a venue to watch the game here?

I'll check for a reply before tomorrow night. Cheers

Hi Mate

The OP was a couple of years ago now and we are living in Melbourne now!!! I have been watching all the football on www.myp2p.eu. You may need to download some software, but its generally quite good quality.

Hail, Hail and hope BBJ gets well again.

Hello, don't know if it's too late to be of any use but I am told the Rosemount Hotel in the city shows a lot of international football, it might be worth giving them a ring...they are open 24 hours. I have pasted the details below. Hope it helps!
