Food recommendations

Hi,

 

We are leaving on our reccie/visa activation in 2 weeks 1 day and 22 hours (not that i'm counting) and are staying down near Christies beach. I was looking for some good eating places, be it fish and chips on the beach or good restaurants, nearby, or worth making the effort to drive to.

Any reccomendations would be gratefully recieved

Fish and chips...Port Noarlunga

Lazy Sunday Breakfast/evening meals....Deep Blue Cafe @ Moana Beach

Cheap friday tea...Christies Beach SLSC

Chinese...Yum Sing @ Reynella

Casual evening meal....manolis (spl?) @ port noarlunga and port noarlunga hotel/pub

Tues or Weds night for the Schnitzel special.

Bloody good for a bargain price -10.90!

The star of greece in willunga.....really nice but can get costly,but worth a visit....from christies it prob be 30mins drive maybe....

Christies Beach hotel food is not bad at all, the Ferndale? chinese isnt bad, and southern palace is ok too, Port Noarlunga has great food on offer - Patricias, Manolis, the hotel, the chippy, etc.

Deep blue cafe and Moana surf club have the best settings with great food - look out over the sea

If youre going out n about theres McLaren Vale - loads of good eating places there and up to Glenelg - spoilt for choice. AND then theres the city....

food here is generally good, prices are great too.

Great burnt burgers and steaks, i can bring along some Spurs dvd's and make a real party of it.
