A pair of friends arrive a week today and are staying here in Adelaide for 5 days as part of their round the World trip, depending on the weather, where and what would you do and see in 5 days.

1 Day touring Barossa, 1 Day McLaren Vale and Victor Harbor, 1 Day City (Botanic Gardens/Zoo/Tandanyka (sp?) Centre, 1 Day Canoeing round Garden Island, followed by beers and lunch at Port Dock Brewery and then dolphin cruise, 1 Day Cleland and Mount Lofty!

There you go! You can add things like the Whispering Wall and the drive up Gorge Road into the Barossa day, and if they're here for any footy matches, or the Rugby 7's, or anything at the Festival/Womadelaide, slip those in somewhere too! If they are here on a Sunday, do the Port stuff then as there's the flea market there then. If they like plants and stuff, try and get onto one of the free guided tours that take place there every day. Go down to Victor/McLaren Vale via Strathalbyn and visit the antique shop there to watch the lovely German man playing his didgeridoo! Mount Lofty is a good one to start with to get a feel for the lay of the land around Adelaide.

were they on the malaysian airways 7.15 flight this morning ?? Picked the outlaws up and heard more English people there than you would at Heathrow on their departure !!!

The forcast isn't great for the next 5 days so i would say the fringe, some nice beaches, Dolphin cruise, Windy opoint restaraunt for views, beers and a meal and then as many good pubs as you can find the time for.

This Saturday coming, swimming with the Dolphins will be on, (can't do that in the UK) after here they are off to Alice/Uluru then North North Qld then onto Sydney., so something typical Adelaide.

Get on down to the Alehouse.Great fun listening to everybody else telling you where to go and what to see, whilst getting happier by the minute, enjoying good company and relaxing. Why bother running around like a loony, trying to please yourself, and everyone else?:)
