Who has seen what? What did they think? Would they recommend it?

For my part I'd recommend ..

My name is Rachel Corrie - excellent! really well acted and very affecting. The story of a remarkable young woman.

Dead Cat Bounce - very funny Irish band. Occasional flat moments but musical comedy is a hard thing to pull off. Over all these guys do it very well.

Best of the Edinburgh festival - Carey Marx, Elis James and Jason Cook. All of them made me laugh but Carey Marx is the class act here.

Thanks for this thread guys! :)

Unfortuantly I didn't get to see any shows this year but my husband and I went to the opening parade. It was jammed packed and we really didn't get to see much.

Next year I'd book a table on the balcony of one of the pubs which the parade passes by or get there about 4pm to set up camp by the road side.
