child freindly cycle tracks?

Would really like to take the children out for a decent bike ride - needs to be quite flat though to avoid too much complaining!

 

Any tried & tested favourites in the city or South of it ????

There is a lovely ride between Willunga and McLaren Vale. Down an old disused railway line that they made into a cycle way. Our two lads are four and seven and they did it both ways no problem. It's about 7km each way but fairly easy and the track is in really good condition. Lovely ride through the vines, views to the hills and the coast, and loads of places to stop at either end for refreshments as well!

Anywhere along the Torrens River Linear Park - you can cycle all the way from the City to Henley, or Eastwards if you prefer. No traffic, follows the river so no major hills, safe and great fun.
