Hey ladies, I'm Tina and I've come to Adelaide on holiday for three weeks, but unfortunately only have one week left to go! We are looking to move here and I've been involved with crafting - Card making and scrap booking for about a year or two now, and I searched the internet for craft shops around Adelaide but unfortunately the results weren't very succesful  I found a craft shop in Clarance Gardens but wondered if there way any Craft shops more down South of Adelaide, if you know of any please let me know, I'd be very grateful.

Many thanks, Tina :) x

Hi, there a few shops that sell craft stuff. Sam's Warehouse, Spotlight, Cheap as Chips and Reject Shop.

Enjoy the rest of your stay in Adelaide.

I go to Charlotte's Web whenever I'm in Adelaide. It's in Finness Street near Marion Shopping Centre and they have great classes (no website yet sadly).

Loads of 'Stampin Up' demonstrators south of the City too

When you are gere look out for the annual Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at the racecourse each February. If you look in the back of Australian Stamping and Papercraft magazine you may find some more 'specialist' shops but there are a lot less in SA than other states.

Try browsing some of these suburbs too http://www.startlocal.com.au/retailrec/crafts/sa_adelaide/

As 'The Dimmocks' Say - Spotlight is pretty good (they sell household stuff too) and there are branches all over - the large newish one at the Homemaker Centre on Main North Road carries a very good range of craft items especially card making and scrap booking things. That's where I always start anyway - it's probably the nearest you'll get to a Hobbycraft here and considerably cheaper than the smaller specialist shops.
