Thongs!

I'm sure you'll all be aware of this, but just in case...remember to take your thongs (or boat shoes or whatever!) onto the beach with you in the hot weather.

 

The sand can heat up to the point where it becomes amazingly uncomfortable walking on it!

 

Just a thought

Too true - but I thought you would use your Laid Back Bovine superpowers to levitate across the hot sand

 

 

This warning goes for dogs too - their pads do feel the hot sand and tarmac,have a thought for them - they can't tell you!!

( I felt like pinching a woman's thongs once when she was dragging her obviously distraught Poodle along a scorching tarmac path - see how she likes it!!)

Tyke...I'd need some power to levitate this bulk across the sand lol! As for the poodle...people can be so thoughtless Mind you, I fail to see how taking her thongs would help the dog...the poodle couldn't get his toes round them and he'd need four anyway Silly Tyke! Have fun whatever you are up to tonight!

I saw a dog in little shoes once on Glenelg esplanade!! He also had a little hat on to protect him from the sun, it made me smile at the time but in reality the poor things are as likely to get burned as us!
