I read in the local Messenger newspaper that our local Surf Life Saving clubs (Christies Beach, Port Noarlunga, Port Noarlunga South (Southport) and Moana) were having an open day on Saturday the 11th of October.

Our Doors Are Open

On Saturday 11 October 2014 South Australia's Surf Clubs willopen their doors and invite their local communities to learn moreabout our movement.
People think that Surf Life Saving is just about patrolling thebeach. However your local Surf Club plays a much bigger role inyour local community than you might think.
Clubs will host a number of activities including:

  • Lifesaving demonstrations
  • Clubhouse tours
  • Barbecues
  • Rescue equipment displays
  • Kids activities

Come and Try
Some clubs will also offer people the chance to try out a rangeof beach activities and rescue scenarios first hand to give them agenuine feel for the challenges and excitement of surflifesaving.
