Anyone flying via Singapore in the near future can get a free tour of the city. Details can be found here. Could be a great way to have a look around rather than just sit festering in an airport terminal for several hours.

Its a great airport and you can catch the transit to others terminals where there are some lovely gardens and lots more to see and do.

We fly singas in June and are looking at the city tour, but we can only book it 1 hour prior to departure I believe.

30 kg standard for economy.

 

If you are flying out on a permanent unvalidated visa you can get an extra 10kg. You should confirm this with them after booking, sending visa grant type/number to prove it.

Of course you can act completely stupid and book in 84kg between 2 of us plus hand luggage on top! Our visa's had already been validated too, just be nice smile and hope! Key is to be early for check in as we always are plus don't forget to book the same airline right through.
