Organic/Free range meat in Adelaide

I'm trying my best to eat organic/free range food at the mo. I've got the milk, yogurt, bread, eggs sorted. Just wondering where to go for good free range/organic meat.

 

Does anyone know of a butchers who specialise in this?

there is a stall in the central market i think, alternatively you could eat kangaroo(no pun intended) it is a very lean meat and the roos live naturally, eating their normal diet. It does have a gamey taste like venison etc.

Yes, Roo (no pun intended too!) is on the menu at least once a week. I love it, as long as its cooked right (medium/well done for me) plus you can buy it in a fantastic maranade.

 

Cheers for the tip on central market. Will have to take a trip down and stock up.

I dont eat organic food............you never know what they might have eaten!!

vegas chickens in the market does free range chickens. Feast in the market does some red meat, I think it might be beef(angas). The organic stall is just fruit n veg I think. There is also an organic shop called Wilsons at 57 Gouger st, near the market.

Hi, I like to buy all organic too. You can get organic meat from Barossa Meats at the Central Market. The best and most genuine organic fruit and vegetables I've seen in many years are available from Doof Doof which is a cafe/organic food shop in Duthy Street at Malvern. It's worth the drive.

Thanks for the info. I've since been told Willunga Farmers Market on a Saturday is a good place to buy too.
