Hi there

The Windy Point restaurant on Belair Road is nice. It's in the Adelaide Hills about 20 mins from Glenelg BUT it has a gorgeous view over the city, which is lovely at night. Food is absolutely delicious and the service is very good. The restaurant is kind of "round" so everyone gets a good view!!

We have recently returned from our reccie and loved it at Windy Point

Hope you find somewhere and have a good one!

Mandy

If you want somewhere different try Korea Restaurant on Goodwood Rd, Goodwood. Each table has a mini BBQ in the middle and you can order a variety of marinated thin strips of meat or fishwhich you then cook. You can order a full meal that gives you soup, your choice of meat, Kim Chee, Rice and tea / coffee. For desert there is a steamboat which is chocolate melted with cream and liqueur. You get a plate of fruit pieces and marshmallows to dip in. There are also entrees you can order. If you mention its a birthday, the owner will dim the lights at some stage and bring out a fried icecream(complimentary) with sparklers and the whole restaurant will sing you happy birthday.

Try the Revolving Restaurant at Glenelg. Food is pretty good, a little bit expensive, and the views are great.

your right about the expensive part lol....

theres a whole heap of real nice cafes/restaurants on the marina in glenelg if your wanting to stay in glenelg i recomend the wharf...its heaps good....either that or O Connell Street in north adelaide for the best italian food in town :P fellinis has the best pizza in adelaide i reckon :)

Bombay Bicycle Club is an Indian restaurant in the North Adelaide area, about 10 km from Glenelg. Great food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. They have decorated and designed the place really well. Definitely a nice night out to remember. Very popular on thurs-sun so Id suggest booking.

Jolley's Boathouse in the city is gorgeous, we had a lovely meal there for our wedding anniversary in August. If you want to go out in Glenelg Zucca int he marina is nice (if you like Greek) Windy Point's great too, we went there for my 29th. We tend to just use the entertainment Book to help us choose places, have you got one?

Have a good 30th, back in the UK for mine in Jnauary
